Commercial counsel for business owners

Next Path Law

Complex Deals. Clear Path Forward.

Joshua M. Hurwitz (Josh), Next Path Law, PLLC. Outside counsel for business owners who need contracts done right — MSAs, purchase agreements, NDAs, payment issues — negotiated for fair protection. Legal operations support when you need outside counsel.

Florida and District of Columbia attorney with over twenty years of experience. Sharp mark-ups, clear recommendations, and a focus on fair terms that close — not squeezing the other side for sport.

Counsel that helps get business done

Projects rarely stall because the work is unclear. They stall when nobody owns the negotiation.

Next Path Law is the outside counsel you bring in when a counterparty drops a forty-page MSA, payment is held, or a partner needs an operating agreement that matches how the business actually runs. You get a marked-up draft, the issues that actually matter, and counsel who has sat across sophisticated counterparties. The goal is fair, workable terms that close — not squeezing the other side.

Commercial contracts, negotiated with judgment

Focused counsel for business owners and operators — contracts, negotiations, partner disputes, and dissolving deals when they have to unwind. Sharp markups. Clear recommendations. Fair terms that close.

Commercial contracts

MSAs, MPAs, SOWs, sales contracts, riders, and purchase order terms. Review, negotiation, and close with an eye on what actually matters to the business — including the deals that actually move the business.

Confidentiality and deal documents

NDAs, including ones that are really an MSA in disguise. We sort the boilerplate from the commitments that bind you.

Payment and performance

Invoice disputes, payment holds, and late-delivery exposure. Practical paths to get paid and close out performance issues.

Entity and operating agreements

Ownership, control, and economics aligned with how the business actually works, not just how a template was drafted.

Partner disputes and dissolution

Partner and ownership fights, buyouts, and dissolving contracts or partnerships when the relationship is over. Clear paths to separate without burning the business.
